J’Adore has registered her second win from her past three starts, with a strong one-and-a-half length win in the BM 65 (1000m) at Townsville, today.
Jumping away with the field, Jockey Wanderson D’Avila had J’Adore positioned perfectly, travelling fifth on the fence, behind the strong pace.
As the field swung for home, runners drifted to the centre of the Heavy 8 rated track, but J’Adore and D’Avila were happy to stick to the fence, taking the room that presented at the top of the straight.
Levelling up to the leading with 100m to go, J’Adore proved too strong late – coming away from her rivals to record her second win for McGuire Racing Stables.
